Why is Warzone over 100gb?
Latency and slow internet makes the game unplayable. For anyone downloading the full standalone version of Warzone for free, the file sizes will be anywhere between 83 and 101 GB. That huge size on par with the full version of Modern Warfare, likely because the games share a base and manyoverlapping assets.
Xbox One: 70.0 GB. Xbox Series X/S: 62.0 GB. Battlenet: 23.6 GB. Steam: 22.6 GB.
The reason that Warzone has such a colossal file size baffles a lot of people, but I remember reading that it's actually because they preload all of the potential store items including items that you earn over the battlepass.
Production director Paul Haile said on Twitter that the file size is massive because Warzone includes "a ton of content." Additionally, Warzone shares progression with Modern Warfare, which means every weapon and character asset from Modern Warfare must also work in Warzone.
Now, with its new version (Warzone 2.0) arriving November 16, we already know how big it's going to be on Xbox: no less than 115 GB.
It has been reported that Warzone 2.0 will have an install size of 115 GB, bringing the combined file size with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 to almost 200 GB. Fans are therefore cautioned to clear some space on their console and PC storage in order to download and install the new mode.
Call of Duty: Warzone data use
Call of Duty: Warzone uses about 175 MB of data per hour – so 1 GB of data equals more than 5 hours of playtime.
Call of Duty Warzone is quite a heavy title that requires a powerful system to get the best experience of the game. The minimum PC hardware requirements for playing Call of Duty Warzone are as follows: CPU - Intel Core i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300 Processor. RAM - 8 GB.
In general, the most accepted idea is the fact that Modern Warfare has too many assets. Some players suggest that holding the cosmetics from the store along with un-compressed textures for maps are what cause these issues, while others believe that Infinity Ward simply didn't do enough to compress the game down.
On PC, it's 52.4GB for Warzone, or 133.6GB for Warzone and Modern Warfare, but keep in mind the savings above occur once this update is installed.
How do I free up space on Warzone?
- Under Game Content, select Modify Install.
- Uncheck the content you wish to uninstall. (Warzone cannot be uninstalled.) Campaign. Multiplayer. Special Ops. Survival. Select Confirm.
- Select Start Install.
By streaming textures instead of having them installed, the game's file size will be reduced. Players can control their bandwidth usage and set a daily cap through Modern Warfare's Options menu.
We recommend at least 100 Mbps download speeds for online gaming.
You will need about 100 GB of free hard drive space to download and install the Warzone and the day one update. This update must be installed completely to access Warzone.
CPU: Intel Core i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300. Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 / GeForce GTX 1650 or Radeon HD 7950. RAM: 8GB RAM.
Games such as Call of Duty Warzone and Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) recommend playing with 16GB RAM.
For Modern Warfare owners who are up-to-date on all of the game's latest patches, Warzone only requires 18-22 GB to install depending on your platform.
Online gaming doesn't use as much data as people usually guess. You can game online at 80MB per hour. 100GB of monthly data allotment would last 1,250 hours of online gaming.

What Internet speed do I need for gaming, you ask? Most video game console manufacturers recommend at least 3 Mbps (or “megabits per second,” the measurement of how much data can be moved in a second) of download speed and 0.5 Mbps to 1 Mbps of upload speed as a generally "good internet speed".
What graphics card do I need for Warzone?

GPU | NVIDIA: GeForce GTX 960 AMD: Radeon RX 470 | NVIDIA: GeForce GTX 1060 AMD: Radeon RX 580 |
VRAM (Video Memory) | 2GB | 4GB |

Aside from sheer difficulty, Warzone tends to be more complex than Fortnite, mechanically speaking. Utilizing weapons is harder since they're more nuanced, and your view is restricted since it's in first-person, as opposed to the third-person perspective in Fortnite.
8GB is considered the minimum requirement for effective gaming on PCs. Anything below 8GB of RAM will result in slower performance speed, lackluster graphics settings, and more. Doling out the extra cash for at least 8GB of RAM is well worth it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare just got an update, patch 1.23. 0. The patch adds the newly increased 200 player count to Warzone's Verdansk map, but it also balloons Modern Warfare's install footprint to well over 200 gigabytes. The game may not even fit on a 250 GB SSD anymore.
What is this? If it's accurate, the 175GB can likely be chalked up to any number of things: ultra high-resolution textures, huge maps, CGI cutscenes, a bunch of language options, and a general lack of compression. This isn't even the first eye-popping install size today; Red Dead Redemption 2 needs 150GB.
In the Manage Game Content menu, you wull be required to go to the icon on the right of the content that you wish to install or uninstall. There will be a lot of additional content options here, and through the icon, you will be able to delete anything that you do not need to enjoy the game.

Online Gaming:
In theory, things would still work on more than 100 devices at the same time when using a 900Mbps broadband connection. In reality, however, you might reach the limit of your home wi-fi network, which can start slowing down when you have lots of devices connected at the same time.
If you talk about the minimum RAM requirement to run call of duty: Warzone then it is suggested 8 GB but in order to run the game smoothly you should have at least 12 GB RAM.
