Is 100gb enough for Warzone?
Activision says you need a whopping 175GB of hard drive space on PC for a Warzone install. On Xbox, the base download is listed at nearly 92GB, similar to the size on PlayStation systems.
Now, with its new version (Warzone 2.0) arriving November 16, we already know how big it's going to be on Xbox: no less than 115 GB.
Call of Duty: Warzone data use
Call of Duty: Warzone uses about 175 MB of data per hour – so 1 GB of data equals more than 5 hours of playtime.
Online gaming doesn't use as much data as people usually guess. You can game online at 80MB per hour. 100GB of monthly data allotment would last 1,250 hours of online gaming.
It has been reported that Warzone 2.0 will have an install size of 115 GB, bringing the combined file size with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 to almost 200 GB. Fans are therefore cautioned to clear some space on their console and PC storage in order to download and install the new mode.
Call of Duty Warzone is quite a heavy title that requires a powerful system to get the best experience of the game. The minimum PC hardware requirements for playing Call of Duty Warzone are as follows: CPU - Intel Core i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300 Processor. RAM - 8 GB.
Call of Duty: Warzone is a very large game in terms of its download size. The standalone Warzone client weighs in at between 80 GB and 100 GB depending on your platform. Even if you already own Modern Warfare, which shares some of the same assets, the download size is still between 15 GB and 22 GB.
According to Xbox gamers, the latest update is clocking in at an eye-watering 80GB, meaning it's basically the size of a whole new game. It's such a problem for Xbox players, that “#80 GB” has been trending on Twitter for the last few hours.
Warzone 2.0 only:
PS4: 55.7GB. PS5: 65.5 GB. Xbox One: 70.0 GB. Xbox Series X/S: 62.0 GB.
As such, you can still expect to use between 40MB and 300MB per hour for most games.
Why is Warzone so large?
The reason that Warzone has such a colossal file size baffles a lot of people, but I remember reading that it's actually because they preload all of the potential store items including items that you earn over the battlepass.
Time duration with 100GB*
Your data should normally refresh every month or 30 days, so theoretically you have an average of 720 hours to fill a month. 100GB can last almost non-stop for the entire month, so you'd never have to connect to Wi-Fi if you didn't want to.
16GB is the recommended amount of RAM for playing most games and will provide a noticeable increase in performance from 8GB.
1GB (or 1000MB) is about the minimum data allowance you're likely to want, as with that you could browse the web and check email for up to around 40 minutes per day.

1/19 Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – 250 GB
This is the case for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as well. The entire game takes a whopping 250 GB on a person's hard drive, which is simply ridiculous since developers should be responsible for optimizing their games on PC.
How many GB is Warzone in total?
According to the Warzone 2 system requirements, which can be found on Steam and Battle.net, you will need a total of 125 GB free to install the game. This is a fairly sizeable amount right out the gate, so you may want to put the download on overnight if you want to play it on launch.
Warzone 2 file size: PlayStation, Xbox, PC
The base version of Warzone 2 requires a download of between 55 GB and 70 GB on console, and 22 GB and 24 GB on PC.
The official standalone Warzone 2 install size ranges from 22.6 GB to 70 GB depending on the platform, with the PC versions being much smaller than the PlayStation and Xbox versions.
Battle.net
This update must be installed completely to access Warzone.
There are two packs for MW2's campaign that require approximately 16.7 GB in total, with more space needed for multiplayer and Special Ops co-op mode.
We recommend at least 100 Mbps download speeds for online gaming.
If you don't, though, anywhere from 25-45GB will be needed from your system depending on your platform. As for the file size, this comes in much larger at anywhere between 115 and 175 GB. This means you'll need a hefty amount of space freed up on your system, and may even need to delete some games just to have enough.
What Internet speed do I need for gaming, you ask? Most video game console manufacturers recommend at least 3 Mbps (or “megabits per second,” the measurement of how much data can be moved in a second) of download speed and 0.5 Mbps to 1 Mbps of upload speed as a generally "good internet speed".
If you're trying to stream games or play multiplayer games, gigabit internet is an excellent option. The fast speeds from fiber can result in optimal internet for online gaming.
Here's what can cause Warzone lag on consoles and how you can fix it: Poor internet – try restarting your router. Your Warzone is outdated – make sure you're playing the latest version. ISP or server issues – get a VPN to hide your activity or change servers.
