How do I change a file to a package file?
You can switch between a single file and a package at any time. Open your file. Then choose File > Advanced > Change File Type, and select the type you'd like to use.
Download and extract your CC into My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads. To install just one Sims3Pack, double-click on it and the Launcher will open and install it by itself.
